Education & Events Manager

Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA)
Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time | Hybrid

CAALA is the nation’s largest local association of plaintiffs’ trial lawyers, serving more than 4,000 members through top-tier legal education, signature events, and a shared commitment to justice.

We’re looking for an experienced Education & Events Manager to lead both the development of our continuing legal education programming and the oversight of our events portfolio—from conferences and galas to seminars, leadership retreats, and networking mixers.

This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys bringing together compelling content, exceptional experiences, and strong execution.

What You’ll Do

Lead CAALA’s CLE programming for attorneys, including speaker recruitment, panel development, and State Bar compliance
Oversee the planning and execution of conferences, galas, retreats, networking events, and educational programs
Direct the overall attendee experience, including program flow, timelines, branding, and the look and feel of signature events
Partner with committees, volunteer leaders, sponsors, vendors, and internal staff to bring programs and events to life
Continuously improve the quality of CAALA’s educational offerings and member experiences

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in professional education, association management, conference programming, events leadership, or similar environments
Experience with continuing education, adult professional learning, or member-based organizations strongly preferred
Strong project management, leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Experience leading complex, member-facing programs or events
Comfort working with high-level volunteers, committees, and multiple stakeholders
