Full Job Description

At Medical Evaluations of Alaska, we pride ourselves on a collaborative, fast-paced, and supportive workplace culture where every team member can thrive. We are seeking an on-site, organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to keep our daily operations running smoothly.

Role Overview:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1/2 Hr. lunch).
Location: Alaska Regional Hospital, Bldg. E.

Key Responsibilities:

Communication Management: Answer and direct phone calls, monitor central emails, and handle incoming/outgoing mail.
Document & Data Support: Organize records, draft routine correspondence, and update internal databases.
Calendar Coordination: Schedule appointments and prevent calendar conflicts.
Office Maintenance: Monitor and order office supplies while tracking inventory levels.
Visitor Hospitality: Greet clients and guests warmly, directing them to the appropriate person or meeting room.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: 1–2 years of experience in an administrative support or clerical role preferred.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, higher education preferred, but not required.
Tech Skills: Proficient (or at least familiar) with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Docs & Google Calendar.
Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication, exceptional time management, and a problem-solving mindset.
Discretion: Proven ability to handle sensitive business and client information with absolute confidentiality.

Pay: From $19.50 per hour

Work Location: In person
