Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our laundry operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for processing a variety of laundry items with precision, ensuring they meet the highest standards of cleanliness and garment care. Your proactive approach and dedication will contribute to delivering exceptional service to our guests and maintaining an organized, safe workspace. This paid position offers an engaging environment where your skills in laundry technology and customer service will shine.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial-grade dryers, washers, tunnel dryers, conveyor dryers, and garment care machines safely and efficiently.
Handle laundry washing, dry cleaning, bleach washing, steam cleaning, and stain removal using mechanical stain removal techniques such as baking soda, hot water, cold water, and specialized cleaning agents.
Manage laundry folding using folding machines and manually fold garments to maintain quality presentation standards.
Maintain inventory by tracking supplies like detergents, bleach, stain removers, and other cleaning agents; restock as needed.
Operate push carts to transport and process large volumes of laundry swiftly.
Ensure a clean and organized workspace by adhering to machine operation safety procedures and routine cleaning protocols.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests or inquiries related to laundry services.

Requirements

Prior experience in hotel or commercial laundry environments is highly preferred.
Knowledge of fabric care techniques and garment handling procedures.
Familiarity with laundry processes such as laundry steam cleaning, mechanical stain removal, bleach washing, hot water stain removal, cold water stain removal, baking soda stain removal, and fabric care knowledge.
Ability to stand for extended periods
