Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Restaurant shift Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our casual dining establishment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily restaurant activities, manage staff, uphold food safety standards, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive operational excellence, foster a positive team environment, and ensure that every guest has a memorable dining experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your management skills in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused setting.

Duties

Lead and supervise restaurant staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer service.
Oversee food preparation, cooking processes, and food handling procedures to maintain quality standards and compliance with health regulations.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to optimize profitability.
Utilize POS systems and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation with accuracy.
Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and sanitation standards across all areas of the restaurant.
Monitor shift operations to ensure efficient service delivery during busy hours while maintaining a positive work environment.
Conduct staff training sessions on food production, customer service excellence, and safety procedures to foster continuous improvement.
Analyze profit and loss statements to identify opportunities for growth and cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Coordinate with kitchen management on food production schedules, catering events, banquet services, or special promotions as needed.
Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly with professionalism to uphold the restaurant’s reputation for hospitality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food industry operations.
Demonstrated supervisory experience in hospitality or restaurant settings with team leadership responsibilities.
Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills.
Familiarity with food safety management practices and health regulations applicable to restaurant environments.
Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, and profit & loss analysis within a food service context.
Strong communication skills for effective managerial communication, staff training, and customer interaction.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced casual dining or hospitality environment.
Previous experience with culinary operations or kitchen management is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
A background in managing hospitality teams with a focus on team training, development, and leadership excellence is preferred.
