About Us:

Lothorian is a family owned and operated company specializing in all aspects of the swimming pool environment. Our service division is one of Maryland’s largest and most successful swimming pool service and maintenance providers, actively servicing over 700 residential swimming pools and 65 commercial facilities. With over forty-two years in business, we have earned a reputation based on integrity and trust. Our reliable customer service team and knowledge service technicians ensure we deliver on our mission to continually improve the quality of life for our clients, employees, and vendors through our Passion for Pools.

Lothorian's main office is located in Phoenix, MD. We are seeking someone who lives in the Annapolis area to service existing customers in that zone.

Pool Service Technician

A pool service technician provides general maintenance and repair for facilities and equipment on and surrounding a swimming pool which may include electrical, chemical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and cleaning services. Duties would include:

Maintains and performs minor repairs on pool equipment.
Tests, troubleshoots, and repairs pool filters per required specifications.
Provides accurate and timely documentation of all pool services performed using an iPad, provided to you.
Handles minor fixture adjustments and repairs around the pool.
Monitors and operates pool process equipment that includes tanks, filters, heating elements, pumps, and vacuum systems.
Makes needed adjustments to keep system processes, including flows, temperatures, and pressures, within acceptable ranges.
Operates manual and automatic valves, meters, pumps, and transfer systems that move liquid between tanks and process units.
Employs standard operating procedures to adjust, maintain, start, and stop production equipment.
Complies with all company safety and environmental practices.
Assists with other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Is aware of safety hazards and applicable safety precautions required in the use of assigned tools and chemicals.

Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of experience as a lead technician
Must be available to work Monday thru Friday - daytime schedule
Must have a driving record free of major infractions (like DUI, reckless driving)
