Full Job Description

Job Overview
Join our dynamic healthcare team as an X-Ray Technician, where your expertise in medical imaging will play a vital role in diagnosing and evaluating patient conditions. Your dedication to precision and patient care will contribute to improved health outcomes and a seamless diagnostic process.

Duties

Prepares patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly to obtain optimal images.
Operates X-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols to protect patients and staff during all procedures.
Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and technical findings in accordance with medical terminology standards.
Conduct routine quality checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Maintains patient exam rooms and assures rooms are stocked with necessary medical and radiologic supplies.

Requirements

American Registry of Radiologic Technologist registration preferred.
One year experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic radiology.
Hands-on experience with a variety of imaging modalities including X-ray and DEXA scan, sonography.
Familiarity with aseptic technique and radiation safety standards to ensure patient and staff protection during imaging procedures.
Ability to operate complex medical imaging equipment with precision and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
