Full Job Description

HR & Beyond is seeking an experienced Payroll Professional to join its team of Human Resources Professionals.

What you would do:

Responsible for overseeing, preparing, and producing accurate and timely payrolls for multiple clients simultaneously, in multi-locations (states), based on state and federal regulations and company policies.
Make adjustments in pay for raises, bonuses, commission, and severance.
Review and validate payroll reports for accuracy, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
Submit payroll reports to clients as needed.
Manage pay codes, pay positions, pay location, PTO adjustments, existing GL set ups and ongoing issues/concerns from clients.
Respond to payroll-related inquiries from clients and their employees and provide excellent customer service.
Process employee garnishments.
Lead and/or assist with client payroll system implementations.
Process new employee onboardings and offboardings.
Prepare Time and Labor files.
Input employee changes and maintain deductions and banking information, etc.

Who we’re looking for:

Super flexible and committed Payroll Rock Star with the following profile:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
At least 3-5 years of proven experience processing payroll, preferably with multi-states and multi sites.
In-depth knowledge of payroll process, regulations (Federal, State and Local), and best practices.
Extensive knowledge and experience with one or more of the following systems: Paylocity, ADP Workforce Now, Paycor, UKG, Paycom, Heartland/Auris, etc.
Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, etc.).
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
Detail-oriented and proactive problem-solving skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
Excellent math and numerical skills.
