Commercial Lending Solutions Consultant (Pre-Sales)

The Commercial Lending Solutions Consultant plays a critical role in helping banks and credit unions modernize their commercial lending operations by serving as a trusted advisor throughout the evaluation and adoption of the GoDocs platform. As the company’s first Solutions Consultant dedicated to commercial lending, this individual will help shape and scale the presales’ function, establishing best practices, processes, and consultative selling strategies that support long-term growth. Combining deep expertise in commercial lending with strong technical and relationship-building skills, the successful candidate will confidently engage lending executives, credit teams, and operational stakeholders to demonstrate how GoDocs improves document quality, compliance, efficiency, and overall lending experience. To be a successful Commercial Lending Solutions Consultant, you will need:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Banking, Information Systems, or a related field, with strong knowledge of commercial lending processes and financial institution operations.
Direct experience in commercial loan documentation, lending operations, credit administration, loan origination systems, or commercial lending technology required, with the ability to engage credibly with bank and credit union stakeholders.
Strong consultative, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex lending workflows and technical concepts into clear business value for clients.
Customer-facing experience in consulting, implementation, training, solution engineering, or pre-sales environments preferred, with a proven ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
Familiarity with banking and credit union technology evaluations, vendor selection processes, compliance requirements, and best operational practices are highly desirable.

Your responsibilities as the Commercial Lending Solutions Consultant will include:

Serve as the subject matter expert on commercial lending and the GoDocs platform, advising banks and credit unions on lending workflows, documentation requirements, compliance considerations, and operational best practices.
Lead technical discovery, solution design, and customized product demonstrations, translating client business needs into tailored GoDocs solutions that address lending, documentation, and operational challenges.
Partner closely with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to advance opportunities, build relationships with lending and technology stakeholders, address objections, and support the successful closure of complex sales engagements.
Act as the primary technical resource for prospects by supporting RFPs, vendor evaluations, integration discussions, security reviews, and proof-of-concept activities while clearly communicating business value and ROI.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Implementation, and Customer Success teams to provide market feedback, improve solution offerings, and ensure a seamless transition from sale through onboarding and adoption.
