Job Overview

The Law Offices of Richard Franzblau LLC, a distinguished Orlando-based law firm with over 20 years of experience, is seeking a meticulous and dedicated Data Typist (Entry-Level) to join our team. This is a Full-Time position based in our office in Orlando, Florida, United States. Our firm is committed to providing personalised, efficient, and practical legal solutions across a range of practice areas, including business law, real estate, and estate planning. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and organisation of our critical legal data, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional service to our clients.

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently transcribe and enter data from various sources, including legal documents, client correspondence, and case files, into our database and case management systems.
Review documents and data for errors, correct any inaccuracies, and ensure the final output meets our high standards.
Maintain the strict confidentiality of all client and firm information in accordance with professional and legal standards.
Organise and maintain physical and digital files to ensure information is easily accessible and retrievable.
Prepare and sort documents for data entry, ensuring a logical and efficient workflow.
Comply with data integrity and security policies to protect sensitive information.
Provide general administrative support to the legal team as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a data entry or typing role is preferred, but not essential for a candidate with demonstrable skills.
Excellent typing speed combined with a high degree of accuracy.
A strong command of the English language, with exceptional grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
An exceptional eye for detail and a commitment to producing precise work.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
The ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment would be an advantage.

Compensation

The offered compensation for this role is $20.00 - $35.00 USD per hour, dependent on experience and skills.
