Full Job Description

Stay Connected Management Inc. is currently hiring a full-time Junior Sales Trainee in Saint Paul, MN.

This is an in-person, face-to-face retail sales position supporting Primo Home Water products and services inside established retail locations and approved promotional environments.

Junior Sales Trainees begin by working directly with customers, identifying their telecommunications needs, explaining available Spectrum products, services, plans, and promotions, and assisting interested customers through the sales and service enrollment process.

As representatives develop consistent sales performance and product knowledge, they may also receive additional training in team development, performance tracking, client campaign support, and territory operations.

No previous telecommunications or sales experience is required. Paid training is provided.

Compensation & Employment

Full-time W-2 employee position
Not a 1099 or independent contractor opportunity
Guaranteed base pay: $1000 per week
Uncapped commission opportunities in addition to guaranteed base pay
Average total weekly earnings, including commissions: $1,000–$1,800
Commission earnings are based on individual sales performance and are not guaranteed
Paid weekly
Paid training provided

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Junior Sales Trainee, your primary responsibilities will include:

Work face-to-face with customers inside assigned retail locations and approved promotional environments
Approach and engage customers to identify their wireless and telecommunications needs
Promote and sell Primos products and services
Explain available Spectrum services, plans, features, pricing, and current promotions
Conduct needs-based sales presentations using provided product and sales training
Recommend appropriate Primo services based on individual customer needs
Assist interested customers through the sales, application, and service enrollment process
Generate new customer acquisitions and eligible account upgrades
Answer customer questions and provide accurate product and service information
Maintain current knowledge of Spectrum products, services, plans, and promotions
Track individual sales activity, customer acquisitions, and performance
Work toward established daily and weekly sales goals
Attend team meetings and ongoing paid product and sales training
Maintain professional customer interactions and brand standards
Travel locally to assigned retail or promotional locations as required

This is an in-person, face-to-face sales position involving direct customer engagement and customer acquisition. It is not a remote or office-based customer service position.

Training & Professional Development

In addition to initial sales and product training, qualified team members may receive ongoing development in:

Spectrum product and service knowledge
Face-to-face retail sales
Customer acquisition and account enrollment
Sales performance and goal tracking
Team communication and development
New representative onboarding and training
Campaign performance
Territory planning
Client campaign support
Leadership fundamentals

Additional responsibilities are introduced based on experience, performance, and demonstrated proficiency in the core sales position.

Schedule

Full-time
40+ hours per week
Retail operating hours
Evening availability may be required
Weekend availability is required
Local travel to assigned retail or promotional locations may be required
Reliable transportation is required for local travel

Qualifications

Candidates should:

Have a high school diploma or GED
Be comfortable approaching and speaking with customers face-to-face
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be interested in developing experience in sales and customer acquisition
Be comfortable working toward individual sales and performance goals
Be coachable and willing to learn sales presentations and Spectrum product information
Be comfortable working on their feet in a customer-facing environment
Have reliable transportation for required local travel
Be available for a full-time schedule, including weekends
Be interested in continued professional and leadership development

Previous experience in retail, customer service, hospitality, sales, telecommunications, promotions, or other customer-facing positions is helpful but not required.

The Junior Sales Trainee position is designed to provide hands-on experience in telecommunications sales, customer acquisition, account enrollment, and sales performance.
