The Opportunity
The Nurse Practitioner will provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care while working collaboratively with St. Gianna Clinic physicians, advanced practice practitioners, nurses, and clinical support staff.
Depending upon the candidate's training and experience, responsibilities may include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations
- Diagnosing and treating acute and chronic medical conditions within the practitioner's scope of practice
- Providing preventive care, wellness examinations, and health education
- Ordering and interpreting appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Developing individualized treatment and follow-up plans
- Prescribing medications and treatments within scope of practice
- Coordinating care with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educating patients and families regarding treatment options, prevention, and healthy lifestyle choices
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record
- Supporting continuity of care and long-term practitioner-patient relationships
- Participating in quality improvement and clinical initiatives
- Collaborating with clinic leadership and fellow practitioners as St. Gianna Clinic continues to grow its services and community impact
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner who combines clinical excellence with compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to serving others.
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold an active or be eligible for a Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner/APRN license
- Hold appropriate national board certification
- Possess excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Value collaborative, team-based healthcare
- Demonstrate compassion and respect for patients from diverse backgrounds and circumstances
- Appreciate the importance of building lasting relationships with patients and families
- Be comfortable practicing within and supportive of St. Gianna Clinic's Catholic healthcare mission and ethical standards
- Bring an entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit to a growing independent medical practice
Experience in family medicine, primary care, women's health, pediatrics, or related outpatient care is highly desirable.
Candidates with experience or interest in women's health, fertility care, Natural Family Planning, or NaProTECHNOLOGY are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Current Wisconsin APRN/Nurse Practitioner licensure or eligibility for Wisconsin licensure
- Current national certification appropriate to area of practice
- Prescriptive authority as required for the position
- Current BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to employment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical decision-making skills
- Commitment to high-quality, ethical, patient-centered care
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative medical team
