Full Job Description

We are looking for reliable employees to supervise and provide direct care for disabled members living in our group homes. We are currently looking for team members to assist in transportation to appointments, tasks such as cooking and assisting members with chores, and assisting in the daily routines of our clients, including hygiene management.

The shift manager's primary responsibility is to ensure house staff provide support and care for the members living in the home and maintain a safe environment. Direct care workers assist the members by directing interactions, assisting in behavioral management, and facilitate recreational and social life skills activities; Shift managers oversee the staff and help them as needed. House managers are also responsible for administrative tasks such as record-keeping, scheduling appointments and ensuring an even work flow of the home.

A willingness to work in Laveen
Punctuality to each of your assigned shifts
A willingness to learn administrative tasks and maintain your own routine to ensure these tasks are completed in a timely manner
A willingness to do basic direct care with members including but not limited to: Cleaning the home, chores as assigned, driving members to and from outings via company vehicles, spending quality time with members and performing feeding, changing, bathing, toileting and other hygiene needs of the members as needed
A willingness to adapt your behavior to the behavioral needs of clients as needed
A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn and be a team player on each shift

Requirements for hiring are:

A valid driver's license
A valid Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1, non-IVP)
A negative blood TB test result from within 1 year of hire
Current, valid certifications for: Article 9, P.R.O.U.D. (formerly known ad Prevention & Support), CPR/First Aid

The currently available schedule is Friday 1PM-9PM, Saturday/Sunday 9AM-9PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
