Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Art Program Manager to inspire creativity and artistic expression in both children and adults. In this vibrant role, you will design engaging lessons that foster artistic skills, encourage imagination, and promote personal growth across diverse age groups. Your enthusiasm for art and education will help cultivate a welcoming environment where students of all ages can explore their talents, develop confidence, and discover the joy of creating. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through innovative teaching methods and personalized guidance.

Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive curriculum tailored to the developmental needs of children and adults, incorporating various art forms such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, theater, ballet, sewing, and culinary arts.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate students to explore different artistic techniques and mediums while fostering their individual creativity.
Manage classroom environments effectively to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful space for learners of all ages.
Provide personalized tutoring and mentorship to support students’ artistic growth, including those with special education needs or early childhood education requirements.
Operate with an entrepreneurial mindset and build and launch the program from scratch
Hire, train and coach art teachers
Assess student progress regularly through constructive feedback and adapt lesson plans accordingly to meet diverse learning goals.
Requirements
Proven experience in classroom teaching or workshop facilitation across various age groups with a focus on arts education.
Strong background in art curriculum development for schools or private art studios
Excellent classroom management skills combined with the ability to work effectively with children and adults in diverse settings.
Demonstrated expertise in tutoring students with different learning styles and developmental stages.
Knowledge of childhood development principles, early childhood education practices, and behavior management techniques.
Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate arts-based activities like dancing, sewing projects, or culinary demonstrations.
Familiarity with special education needs and inclusive teaching strategies is a plus.
