Full Job Description

Southwest Auto Collection is looking for a few driven individuals to join our fast-growing organization. Your responsibilities as a Sales Consultant will be to sell vehicles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, understanding features of new and used vehicles, developing and qualifying buyers, and closing sales. Sales Consultant Job Duties

Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features; comparing and contrasting competitive models; and inspecting automobiles.
Develops buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers; suggesting trade-ins; meeting prospects at community activities; greeting drop-ins; responding to inquiries; and recommending sales campaigns and promotions.
Qualifies buyers by understanding buyer's requirements and interests; matching requirements and interests to various models; building rapport.
Demonstrates automobiles by explaining characteristics, capabilities, and features; taking drives; explaining warranties and services.
Closes sales by overcoming objections; asking for sales; negotiating prices; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing; collecting payment; and delivering automobiles.
Provides sales management information by completing reports.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; and reading professional publications.
Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Sales Consultant Qualifications:

High School Diploma
Must have a valid driver's license.
Auto sales experience is preferred, but not required.

Automotive Sales Consultants Job Requirements

Greet and assist customers
Excellent verbal and written communication
Listen to customers to determine their needs, then provide options
Follow up with prospective customers and return calls, texts & emails.
Maintain a follow-up system that encourages repeat business and referrals
Be able to maintain above-average CSI scores.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
