Join the opening team at our new Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital in Tacoma, Washington — opening in May 2026.

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital is the state-designated Level II Pediatric Trauma Center and the only pediatric hospital in Washington’s South Sound Region dedicated exclusively to caring for children and adolescents. As part of MultiCare Health System, Mary Bridge provides a comprehensive network of pediatric services with a vision to be the highest-quality and safest place for children to receive care—where every child has a medical home and access to nationally recognized services and experiences.

Our new, state-of-the-art pediatric hospital and medical office building in Tacoma, WA, just opened in May and we are seeking imaging technologists who want to help shape care, culture, and clinical excellence from day one.

Mary Bridge Children’s multidisciplinary approach includes pediatric experts across emergency services, inpatient care, and outpatient specialty clinics—each focused on the unique needs of children and their families. Position Summary

The Certified Surgical Technologist is responsible for assisting with the care and preparation of the surgical patient and the operating room under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. The Surgical Technologist has responsibility for the assembly, set-up, and use of surgical instrumentation and equipment during surgical procedures. Work situations are primarily routine but may change rapidly to an emergent or critical situation, and may require both directed and independent decision-making depending on the nature of the situation.

Requirements

5+ yrs of general surgical technologist experience in acute care setting OR previous pediatric experience in a surgical technologist role
Graduate of Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience
National certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration required prior to start date
Health Care Provider level CPR certification
Previous experience preferred
