The House at 1229 is a vibrant, values-driven community dedicated to empowering women leaders and fostering meaningful, high-touch connections. We are seeking a polished, welcoming, and highly organized Part-Time Front Desk Attendant to support the daily operations and front-of-house experience of the club.
As our Membership & Operations Coordinator, you'll be the welcoming face of The House at 1229 while serving as a trusted partner to the CEO. You'll help create exceptional experiences for members, support executive operations, coordinate signature events, and ensure every detail is handled with professionalism and care.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in luxury hospitality, guest relations, concierge services, private clubs, executive support, or member services who enjoys building relationships and making people feel valued.
What You'll Do
Create Exceptional Member Experiences
- Welcome members, guests, and prospective members with warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality.
- Build relationships that make every member feel known, valued, and connected.
- Coordinate member meetings, onboarding, communications, and engagement activities.
- Respond promptly and thoughtfully to member inquiries.
Support the CEO
- Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, travel, and daily priorities.
- Prepare presentations, meeting materials, correspondence, and follow-up communications.
- Track projects, action items, and key deadlines.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Coordinate Events & Board Meetings
- Help bring member events, networking programs, and special experiences to life.
- Support registrations, vendors, catering, and event logistics.
- Prepare board meeting materials, take meeting minutes, and support governance activities.
Keep Operations Running Smoothly
- Maintain organized systems and member records.
- Assist with newsletters, email campaigns, and Canva presentations.
- Support office operations and identify opportunities to improve processes.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Has 2+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, guest relations, concierge, executive support, front desk operations, or another high-touch customer service environment.
- Naturally creates welcoming, memorable experiences for guests and members.
- Is polished, professional, and confident communicating with executives, board members, and VIP guests.
- Is highly organized and enjoys managing multiple priorities.
- Takes initiative, anticipates needs, and follows through on commitments.
- Is proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Canva, and other office technology.

Physical & Schedule Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, lift and carry items up to 20 pounds, and support light physical activity related to front desk coverage, event setup, hospitality support, and daily club operations.
Availability to work evenings and occasional events as needed is required.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time, in-person position with core office hours of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. As a member-focused organization, we regularly host programs and events during evenings and occasionally on weekends. Flexibility to support these events is an important part of the role.
We understand the importance of work-life balance. Event schedules are planned and shared well in advance whenever possible, allowing team members to plan accordingly. When evening or weekend support is required, schedules are adjusted whenever feasible to provide flexibility while ensuring our events and operations continue to run smoothly.
This position is overtime eligible in accordance with applicable wage and hour laws. While occasional overtime may be necessary to support events or operational needs, we strive to keep it to a minimum through thoughtful planning and scheduling, reflecting our commitment to both exceptional member experiences and a healthy work-life balance for our team.
