JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: PACKAGING & LABELING TEAM MEMBER/PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE

COMPANY: THE HEMP COLLECT

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

OBJECTIVES: Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Associate will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing packaging operations to ensure efficient production processes with a strong emphasis on speed, efficiency, and meticulous attention to detail.

PRODUCTION RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute packaging and labeling tasks with precision and speed, meeting production targets and deadlines.
Operate packaging machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and troubleshooting issues promptly.
Conduct frequent quality checks during the packaging process to maintain the highest standards for product integrity.
Coordinate closely across departments to ensure timely availability of packaging materials.
Participate actively in regular production meetings to discuss process improvements and address challenges.
Conduct regular maintenance checks on packaging machinery and promptly report any malfunctions.
Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Continuously seek innovative solutions to enhance packaging procedures, focusing on efficiency and waste reduction.
Collaborate with the Research and Development team to test and implement new packaging technologies.
Lead or assist in special packaging projects as assigned by the Production Manager.
Maintain accurate documentation of all packaging activities and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, ensuring swift resolution of issues during the packaging process.
Foster a culture of excellence, emphasizing the importance of quick, efficient, and detail-oriented packaging practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills & great attention to detail
Clean hygiene and willingness to adhere to cGMP practices and standards
Understanding of willingness to learn NC Hemp compliance expectations
Be a self-starter, able to stay productive without oversight & analyze processes
Knowledge of cannabis/hemp to grade product on intake QC
Must be over 21 years old and have the ability to commute daily to NC facility.
Must have up-to-date food handlers permit and have it with you at all times on shift.
