Providence Medical Group (PMG) - Oregon is seeking an experienced Family Medicine physician to lead an established team in Seaside, Oregon. In addition to direct-patient care, you will have a defined leadership role as Medical Director overseeing our 3 primary care clinics. This is an excellent opportunity to practice full-spectrum primary care as part of an integrative team focused on providing high-value care. The North Coast of Oregon is a paradise for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and families. From the iconic Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach to the scenic viewpoints at the Saddle Mountain summit, the region is filled with natural beauty. Seaside is a picturesque community known for its stunning beaches, historic Promenade, and vibrant downtown area. Residents enjoy a variety of activities year-round including hiking, exploring the charming shops & restaurants, and relaxing on the beach. Whether you're interested in whale watching, surfing, or simply enjoying the sunset over the Pacific Ocean, the North Coast has something for everyone.

Full-time position, 1.0 FTE (0.70 FTE clinical + 0.30 FTE medical director)
Dedicated time for leadership responsibilities include quality improvement projects, supervision, and admin. You'll also have the mentorship and support from the current medical director during a transition period
Schedule will be 4 days per week
Patient-centered medical home model includes co-located providers, MAs, and patient relations specialists. The teams are also supported by social work, psychologist, psychiatric nurse practitioners, dietician, and pharm D.
In addition to primary care, Providence North Coast patients have access to full specialty care including obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, general surgery, orthopedics, cardiology, and hematology/oncology.
Generous guaranteed salary, incentives, signing bonus, educational loan repayment funds, housing stipend, and relocation assistance available.
Standard Employed Provider Benefits Package, including PTO, Health, Life, Dental, Vision, Disability and Malpractice. CME days and dollars, cost of licenses, paid membership dues, paid subscriptions and paid board certification available.
Our Providence North Coast clinic does have an active application on file through the Oregon Office of Rural Health should you wish to apply to any of the programs.
As a non-profit organization, Providence is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
Must have at least 2 years of practice experience and board-certified in Family Medicine.

Providence North Coast Clinic, with primary care offices in Seaside, Cannon Beach and Warrenton, includes an outpatient infusion clinic, a rehabilitation services center and specialty care clinics in Seaside and Astoria. As part of Providence Medical Group, the larger organization of 550+ employed providers across Oregon, the North Coast care teams have a deep bench of clinical and operational support. Residents of Oregon's North Coast can choose from a variety of local providers dedicated to full-spectrum care.
