Full Job Description

Department: Human Resources
Reports to: VP of Human Resources
Location: Greater Atlanta Area – Onsite (Current office in Lawrenceville, GA; relocating within the Greater Atlanta area)
Salary Range: $60,000–$70,000 annually

Position Summary

The HR Administrator is responsible for administering Human Resources processes, including HRIS administration, payroll processing, benefits administration, onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, employee records, and HR compliance. This position serves as the primary administrator of ADP Workforce Now (WFN), ensuring accurate and timely processing of HR transactions while maintaining employee data across a multi-state workforce.

Essential Responsibilities

· Administer ADP Workforce Now (WFN) as the Company's HRIS, including employee records, data entry, system maintenance, reporting, workflow management, Time & Attendance, and manager and employee self-service support.

· Process accurate and timely bi-weekly multi-state payroll.

· Process employee benefit transactions within ADP Workforce Now (WFN), including new enrollments, qualifying life events, benefit changes, terminations, and open enrollment.

· Process leave of absence transactions, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), paid leave programs, and related documentation.

· Coordinate and process onboarding activities, including offer administration, background checks, drug screenings, I-9 compliance, E-Verify, employee setup, and new hire orientation.

· Process offboarding activities, including employee separations, final pay coordination, benefit terminations, COBRA coordination, exit documentation, and system access notifications.

· Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding payroll, Time & Attendance, HRIS self-service, and general HR procedures.

· Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, and HR documentation while ensuring data integrity within ADP Workforce Now.

· Maintain HR records and documentation in accordance with Company policies and applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.

· Process employment verifications, payroll tax registrations, compliance reporting, audits, and other HR administrative functions.

· Generate HR, payroll, and compliance reports as requested.

· Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records and sensitive information.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

· Hands-on experience administering ADP Workforce Now (WFN), including payroll, Time & Attendance, benefits administration, employee data management, and reporting.

· Experience processing multi-state payroll.

· Experience processing employee benefits, leave, onboarding, and offboarding transactions.

· Experience with I-9 compliance and E-Verify.

· Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

· Strong organizational, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

· Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

· Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience supporting a multi-state workforce.

· Experience with ADP SmartCompliance.

· Experience in the construction, engineering, telecommunications, or field services industry.
