The Cellar is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable bartender to provide an excellent guest experience. Good bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations...great bartenders will be able to cater our inventory merged with your expertise to perfect and deliver the ultimate guest experience time and time again. Tucked in an unassuming strip mall, The Cellar prevails as a fine dining establishment with top-tier customer service. We offer the finest of spirits, food, and cigars, but the pivotal piece of our experience is our unmatched customer service. At the forefont of our experience is our dedication to a virtually smoke-free environment, making the indoor/outdoor nature of The Cellar not only a destination for cigar aficionados, but also for the perfect date night. We are eager to add a bartender/mixologist to our team that upholds our standards and values set forth and aims to improve daily, creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities

Provide personable, professional, and upbeat customer service
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
Establish excellent rapport with customers, co-workers, and management
Interact with customers, take orders and serve from our dining menu
Be aware of surroundings and constantly be assessing and predicting customer needs
Anticipate customers’ needs and preferences and make customized recommendations, constantly encouraging even regulars to explore our offerings
Keep bar and restaurant in clean, organized, and presentable state at all times
Prep and mix ingredients to prepare craft cocktails, garnishes, etc.
Plan and present seasonal cocktails and drink specials
Check customers’ identification and confirm they meet legal drinking age
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Complete regularly scheduled cleaning
Stay guest and culture focused, nurturing an excellent guest experience
Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

Resume and proven working experience as a bartender/mixologist
Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
Computer literacy
Knowledge of a second language is a plus
Extensive knowledge of whiskey a plus
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a MUST
Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Compensation includes hourly pay + tips. 7/hr
