KITCHEN MANAGER & ASSISTANT KITCHEN MANAGER
(Tampa, Florida – New Opening)

About This Opportunity
Rreal Tacos is expanding to Tampa, Florida, and we are building a strong Back of House leadership team to support this exciting new opening. Selected candidates will complete a minimum of 6 weeks of training in Atlanta, GA, before relocating to Tampa for the restaurant opening. Company relocation support will be provided.

At Rreal Tacos, our Kitchen Managers and Assistant Kitchen Managers are responsible for bringing our culinary standards, execution, and kitchen culture to life every day. These roles lead and support all Back of House operations—ensuring food quality, consistency, speed of service, and team performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Kitchen Managers set the tone for the entire kitchen, leading with accountability, discipline, and strong operational oversight. Assistant Kitchen Managers play a critical support role, helping maintain structure, execution, and team development on a daily basis. Together, these leaders ensure that systems are followed, teams perform at a high level, and every guest receives a consistent, high-quality experience.

As we continue to grow, these roles are essential in developing strong kitchen teams, maintaining consistency across locations, and building future BOH leaders.

What You’ll Do

Lead and support all aspects of Back of House operations
Ensure consistent execution of food quality, speed, and presentation standards
Drive kitchen performance during prep and service in a high-volume environment
Train, coach, and develop kitchen team members
Maintain strong food safety, sanitation, and health compliance standards
Oversee or support inventory, ordering, waste control, and food cost performance
Ensure all stations are properly set, stocked, and service-ready
Partner with FOH leadership to maintain smooth communication and service flow
Monitor kitchen performance in real time and adjust as needed
Support scheduling and labor management
Lead by example, setting the standard for execution, discipline, and consistency

Kitchen Manager Candidates:

3–5 years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant
Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food cost control, and inventory management
Proven ability to lead, train, and develop teams

Assistant Kitchen Manager Candidates:

2–4 years of kitchen experience with leadership responsibility
Strong understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
Experience supporting or leading teams during service

For Both Roles:

Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
High level of accountability, discipline, and ownership
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
Desire to grow with a fast-growing company and develop into higher leadership roles

What We Offer
Kitchen Manager:

$70,000–$80,000 annual salary

Assistant Kitchen Manager:

$60,000–$70,000 annual salary
