Job Description

Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, and bid-stage cost estimates.
Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to identify scope requirements.
Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing.
Develop quantity takeoffs and pricing models for multiple project types.
Collaborate with operations, project management, and business development teams during pursuit phases.
Identify potential cost risks, value engineering opportunities, and budget considerations.
Support proposal development and client presentations throughout the preconstruction process.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Estimator within commercial construction, public sector construction, or general contracting environments.
Experience estimating projects within aviation, municipal, institutional, industrial, or commercial sectors is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of construction means and methods, materials, and subcontractor markets.
Proficiency with construction estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
