Full Job Description

We are an organization that owns multiple fast food restaurants inside and outside the metro area. We are looking for a talented and reliable maintenance technician with certifications to work on our restaurant equipment. In this position, your chief responsibility is to preserve our equipment and keep it working and in excellent condition and functionality. Your duties will include repairing equipment, conducting quality assessments, maintaining inventory, and developing preventative maintenance procedures. Must have the ability to travel to local locations daily.

Skilled Maintenance Technician

The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades with in-depth knowledge of maintenance procedures, essential tools, skilled labor, and overall repairs of restaurant equipment. You must be an outstanding problem-solver with exceptional communication and organizational skills to excel in this position.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

Inspect equipment and systems to identify any issues.
Repairing faulty equipment units.
Developing and implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
Implementing preventative maintenance procedures.
Managing plumbing systems to guarantee functionality.
Basic electrical skills
Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard.
Basic HVAC knowledge (Certifications preferred)
Maintaining the inventory records for equipment and supplies

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Experience in building maintenance or a relevant field is preferred.
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.
Advanced understanding of general maintenance procedures and techniques.
Physically capable and available to work overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
Effective problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be well-organized and can prioritize tasks.
Reliable transportation (Mandatory)
Experience in HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical
