Full Job Description

Summary

The Georgia Tech Alumni Association is seeking a Gift Processing Coordinator to support the accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all gifts and related donor data within the organization’s database. This role ensures data integrity across gift transactions, biographical records, and matching gifts, while supporting donor engagement through responsive service and proactive communication. The Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining audit readiness and ensuring donors receive appropriate recognition for their contributions.

The Gift Processing Coordinator reports to the Director of Gift Processing within the Roll Call and Data Strategy team.

The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience working in revenue data processing and/or biographical data processing supporting ongoing business operations - preferably with Blackbaud CRM, Raiser’s Edge, or similar. This position requires strong expertise with CRM software, strong accounting skills, strong communication and customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Expertly process data from gifts and pledges using Blackbaud CRM database.
Account for cash, checks, credit card numbers received and accurately file related paperwork
Modify existing gift and pledge records in the database as authorized
Be familiar with Biographical Data Policies and Procedures and assist with biographical updates
Assist with matching gift claim and matching gift entry utilizing online giving portals
Assist with donor outreach by email and phone to donors eligible for matching gifts or other purposes as needed
Work collaboratively with colleagues within and across departments
Assist with Alumni Association events as required
Provide excellent customer service internally and externally
Fulfill other duties as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 2 years of professional experience required; background in higher education, fundraising, or non-profit environment preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is a plus
Working knowledge of Blackbaud CRM is a plus; candidates should demonstrate the ability and willingness to learn new tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a cyclical giving environment
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
