Full Job Description

Outpatient family medicine practice in Vinings is looking for a pre-PA or pre-anesthesiology assistant (pre-AA) student in need of paid clinical hours to fill a full-time clinical medical assistant position.

We are only considering pre-PA and pre-anesthesiology assistant (pre-AA) applicants who have completed their undergraduate coursework (BS or BA) for this position. We are unable to accept applicants who have not yet completed their undergraduate coursework. You do not need to be an MA to apply - we will provide all necessary training for you to become a certified medical assistant (CMA) and certified phlebotomist. This is a very hands-on position for high-performing individuals in a small practice. You will get a lot of experience. We do not screw around - when you go into your PA and AA program interviews you will run circles around other program applicants who worked in large practice settings (thin actual experience due to large staffs and the high division of labor in large offices) and sole-specialty practices (great, you know ONE out of FOURTEEN body systems...there are 14 recognized body systems in medicine - if you go into a specialty practice you will know one system super well but you won't know jack squat about 13 out of 14 body systems). Primary care deals with the whole person - 14 of 14 body systems and everything that goes with them (individually and collectively). With us you will have access to a whole different level of training than you will at any other office - you will be prepared to go into those interviews and deliver the goods. Many of our pre-PA CMAs were accepted into the highest rated programs in the country.
