Job Overview
Majestic Event Group LLC is hiring wedding photographers, second shooters, hybrid photo/video shooters, and shoot-only video/content shooters for weddings and private events in the Atlanta Metro and North Georgia area.
This is part-time, contract, event-based work. We are not conducting first-round interviews. Applicants will be reviewed based on their application answers, portfolio links, social media work samples, gear list, and sample files.
This is primarily a shoot-only role. Majestic Event Group LLC handles editing, client communication, final delivery, and post-production. We need reliable creatives who can professionally capture RAW photos and/or unedited original video clips and upload the files after each event.
Professional and intermediate shooters are welcome to apply, but applicants must be reliable, have their own gear, and be able to show real work samples.
Available Roles and Pay
Second Shooter: $20 per hour
Second Shooter with hybrid photo/video clip capture: $30 per hour
Main / Associate Photographer: $40 per hour
Main / Associate Photographer with hybrid photo/video clip capture: $50 per hour
Shoot-Only Video / Content Shooter: $30 per hour
Pay is based on the role assigned, event length, experience, equipment, and quality of work.
Responsibilities
Capture weddings, ceremonies, receptions, portraits, details, candid moments, family moments, entrances, first dances, speeches, and reception coverage.
Follow the wedding day timeline, shot list, and direction provided by Majestic Event Group LLC.
Arrive on time and dressed professionally in all-black or event-appropriate attire.
Capture sharp, properly exposed RAW images and/or stable unedited original video clips.
Upload all RAW photos and/or original video files within 24 hours after the event unless otherwise agreed.
Work professionally with couples, families, planners, venues, DJs, and other vendors.
Represent Majestic Event Group LLC professionally while on-site.
Do not contact clients directly after the event unless authorized.
Do not post client images or videos publicly without written permission.
Photographer Requirements
Must own professional or intermediate camera gear.
Must be able to shoot RAW.
Must be comfortable shooting in manual mode.
Must be comfortable using flash during receptions and low-light events.
Must be comfortable with off-camera flash or willing to work with an off-camera flash setup.
Must be able to capture clean, sharp, properly exposed wedding and event images.
Wedding, event, portrait, church, corporate, or live event experience is preferred.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must be available for weekend events, especially Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
Video / Content Shooter Requirements
Must own a camera capable of clean video capture.
Must use a gimbal, stabilizer, monopod, tripod, or another form of stabilization when needed.
Must have wireless lapel/lavalier microphones for clean audio, especially for vows, speeches, ceremony audio, interviews, and important speaking moments.
Must understand basic audio capture and be able to record clean, usable sound during live events.
Must have proper video lighting or access to rental lighting equipment when needed for dark receptions, indoor venues, and low-light situations.
Must be able to capture steady video clips, ceremony moments, speeches, details, entrances, first dances, reactions, reception moments, and social media-style clips.
Must understand stable footage, clean exposure, low-light event shooting, and basic event coverage.
Editing is not required unless separately agreed in writing.
We only need clean, stable, unedited original video clips uploaded after the event.
Wedding, church, corporate, or live event video experience is preferred.

Important Notes
This is not a full-time position. This is event-based contractor work. Events are assigned based on availability, experience, reliability, portfolio quality, equipment, and business needs.
Please do not apply if you cannot provide a portfolio, do not have reliable transportation, cannot work weekends, are not comfortable uploading RAW files, or are not comfortable working under our company brand.
Please do not apply for video/content work if you do not have a stabilization plan, lapel/lavalier microphone setup, or access to proper lighting when needed.
