Full Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team. In this vital role, you will oversee daily cleaning operations across the property, ensuring that all guest areas, public spaces, and staff facilities meet the highest standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Your leadership will inspire a motivated team committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience through meticulous attention to detail and efficient management.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate all housekeeping activities to maintain a pristine environment throughout the hotel
Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks to housekeeping staff, ensuring timely completion of duties
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to uphold cleanliness standards
Train and mentor housekeeping team members on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service excellence
Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities, placing orders as needed
Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for staff and guests
Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues or special cleaning requests promptly

Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial management with a strong background in cleaning and floor care techniques
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and janitorial best practices
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale cleaning operations
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and other departments effectively
