Since 1995, the establishment has been serving exquisite dishes, with all breads, pastas, and desserts made in-house. The restaurant operates dinner service only and remains closed on Mondays. Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic General Manager to lead our team and oversee all aspects of restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for exceptional food service, strong leadership skills, and extensive experience in managing high-end dining environments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive excellence in a prestigious culinary setting while ensuring outstanding guest experiences. Duties

Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction
Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and skilled team
Maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
Control inventory levels, monitor beverage costs, and implement effective inventory management practices using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Handle cash management duties including cash handling procedures, shift banking, and reconciliation
Supervise front-of-house staff and kitchen to ensure efficient shift management and excellent service delivery
Maintain compliance with health regulations, safety protocols, and company policies across all operational areas

Requirements

Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in fine dining restaurants
Knowledge of food safety standards
Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and reporting
Strong leadership skills with a background in staff training, supervision, and development
Ability to manage inventory control effectively while maintaining quality standards
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences
Previous experience in restaurant management roles including shift management and budgeting
Knowledge of hospitality management practices including catering, banquets, bar operations, and event hosting is a plus
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and build a cohesive team
Culinary experience or hotel industry background is advantageous
