Company Overview
Orchard Medical Group is an esteemed Internal Medicine practice dedicated to promoting health and well being in a serene environment. Owned and operated by two experienced physicians, the practice has established a reputable presence in the local community, focusing on comprehensive adult healthcare from young adults to seniors.

Job Summary
DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE MEDICAL EXPERIENCE. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Receptionists/Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care. As a Medical Receptionists/Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient clinic operations and tasks that will help run a smooth practice. DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE JUST LOOKING FOR SUMMER WORK. This is a permanent position.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including collecting medical histories and documenting current health concerns.
Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rates, and temperature accurately.
Ability to perform EKG's, strep, pregnancy testing, urine testing and finger sticks. (will train)
Vaccine administration (if certified)
Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems to document patient information thoroughly and accurately.
Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining things clearly, and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
Knowledge of insurances and CPT 10 codes
Front desk duties include, scheduling appointments, answering phones, taking refill requests and calling patients with laboratory and radiology results.

Qualifications

Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent experience preferred but not a must.
Knowledge of medical terminology helpful.
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize clinical and administrative duties..
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor towards patients..
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments with excellent organization and time management skills.
Proficient in computer skills.

The position is at least a 3-4 day work week and NO WEEKENDS. We offer a small but family oriented work environment as well as paid time off. If you are passionate about patient care and want to be a part of a dedication team that values health and well being we invite you to apply.
