Full Job Description

Montalvo's Auto Dismantling & Truck Recyclers is looking for a dependable and organized Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our Merced team.

This position is located in an active auto dismantling yard. Applicants should be comfortable working around tow trucks, heavy equipment, mechanics, and customers in a busy industrial environment.

Responsibilities

Answer and direct incoming phone calls.
Greet customers, vendors, and drivers.
Schedule vehicle pickup appointments and coordinate with drivers.
Assist with basic Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks.
Perform data entry and maintain organized records.
File paperwork and maintain office documents.
Assist with customer service and parts inquiries.
Keep the front office clean and organized.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Previous office or receptionist experience preferred.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and email.
Basic knowledge of Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable is preferred.
Ability to learn new software and office procedures.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly encouraged.

Starting pay: $21.00 per hour
