About the Position
We are a fast-growing residential and commercial cleaning company looking for an experienced, motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Manager / Lead Cleaner to join our growing team.
This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced cleaning professional who takes pride in high-quality work and is interested in taking on greater responsibility within a growing company.
The ideal candidate will have strong cleaning experience, excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial mindset. This position offers opportunities for advancement, increased responsibility, and potentially company ownership for the right individual.
Responsibilities
Cleaning & Quality Control
- Perform high-quality residential and commercial cleaning services
- Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail
- Inspect completed cleanings to ensure quality standards are met
- Identify and address areas requiring additional attention
- Perform daily deep cleaning and sanitizing of cleaning tools and equipment
- Complete weekly laundry of cleaning towels, mop heads, and other reusable materials
- Help maintain and improve company cleaning standards and procedures
Leadership & Training
- Train and support new cleaners
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and resources
- Assist with new-hire paperwork and training materials
- Help maintain consistent quality standards throughout the team
- Conduct monthly performance reviews
- Serve as a resource for team members when questions or challenges arise
Client Relations
- Communicate professionally with residential and commercial clients
- Handle client questions, concerns, complaints, and compliments
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Assist with client retention and customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for additional services and client growth
Operations & Business Growth
- Help grow the company by identifying opportunities to bring in new clients
- Assist with retaining existing clients
- Order cleaning supplies and maintain accurate inventory
- Keep track of equipment, supplies, and materials
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks
- Participate in weekly Zoom meetings
- Contribute ideas and recommendations for improving efficiency, quality, and overall business operations
Qualifications
Required:
- Professional residential and/or commercial cleaning experience
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong organizational skills
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Dependability and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Interest in growing within a leadership position
Preferred:
- Previous lead or supervisory cleaning experience
- Training or team-lead experience
- Customer service experience
- Administrative or operations experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset
