Job description:

United Auto Supply, a major auto parts supplier with corporate headquarters in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for our large Auto Parts Distribution Center in Syracuse, NY. Our Warehouse is Automated, and we continue to make investments in our People and our Process. Applicants should be detail oriented, efficient and take ownership of assigned tasks. Work independently as well in a fast-paced team environment. Come to work each day with passion, positivity, and the ability to interact well with a variety of personalities and can take initiative in an office setting.

Please note this is not an HR position. This is a Recruiting position.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Experience, Skills & Competencies:

· Must possess the ability to thrive in a busy, high-volume, and deadline driven team environment.

· Ability to exercise judgment and flexibility to re prioritize as needed.

· Proficiency in MS Office, Possible ATS system knowledge.

· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

· Able to interact and communicate with employees and coworkers professionally.

· Maintaining regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:

· Maintains effective working relationship with the Warehouse Managers on site, HR/ Corporate Office, to ensure appropriate staffing service levels are met.

· Handles Advertising of Warehouse openings to bring in applicants.

· Conduct phone screenings, scheduling interviews for qualified candidates, orientation, & onboarding.

· Ability to manage New Hire onboarding and orientation process with all new hires by using our already established on boarding procedure and working with Warehouse Manager, Corporate office/HR to ensure forms are accurate and processed timely.

· Attend Job Fairs and represent UAS in a positive and professional manner.

· Maintain and update warehouse staffing Roster.

· Create and manage a pool of qualified candidates on a constant basis.

· General clerical tasks such as scanning documents of confidential Employee information for processing

·Other duties as assigned

Pay: From $22.00-$35.00 DOE
