Job Description: Are you a motivated individual looking to kickstart your career in technical sales? We are seeking enthusiastic candidates eager to learn and grow with our team as an Entry-level Technical Hybrid Sales Representative. This role focuses on OEM Electronic Manufacturers and Distributors in Washington State.

Location: Hybrid (Territory would be Central & Western WA. area)

Founded in 1974 and based in Issaquah, Washington, Electronic Component Sales Inc (ECS) is a family-owned small business representing Electronic Component Manufacturers from around the world.

The Inside/Outside Sales Representative is passionate about growing, building, and cultivating relationships. They are responsible for marketing various electronic components to various distributors and customers. The ideal candidate’s approach is consultative selling through relationship development, customer satisfaction, and identifying, growing, and closing new business opportunities. This individual is a self-starter.

Key Responsibilities & Outcomes

· Build, manage, qualify, and maintain a database of clients and prospects that is aligned to the business opportunity in the market to exceed revenue goals

· Manage the sales pipeline and accurately forecast to meet revenue attainment goals

· Establish, maintain, and grow broad and deep relationships within each customer account

· Provide clients, new and existing, with Product insight and value in every conversation helping them to identify their business needs, identifying what their business gaps are and promoting our Manufacturer’s products and solutions.

· Uncover new opportunities through analysis, inquisitiveness and a deep understanding of customer’s business including initiatives and drivers and aligning those to solutions

· Provide excellent customer service, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that relationships are sustained and nurtured

· Identify and pursue growth opportunities with existing and new clients

· Create and effectively execute account growth plans and strategies for each target account including business and sales planning, forecasting, and providing accurate and timely reporting, forecasts, and metrics tracking as required to support the business

Required capabilities:

· Highly motivated, self-starter and creative problem solver with exceptional follow through skills.

· High quality verbal and written communication.

· Customer services, sales, business development and account management experience in a sales organization preferred.

· Customer relationship management experience.

· Knowledgeable and comfortable with electronic components or the desire to self-learn.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills and comfortable presenting to both large and small groups is a must.

· Competent in the MS Office Suite of programs (Outlook, PPT, Excel, Word, Copilot).

· Ability to drive to client locations for meetings. Reliable transportation with insurance is required (for the right candidate we can discuss a company supplied car)

· Ability to manage and achieve your own weekly/monthly metrics

· Minimum out of state travel will be required

Physical Requirements:

· Requires sitting for extended periods of time at a computer, keying and reading content.

· Will be required to stand, reach, bend, twist, squat, and move about freely in an office environment.

· Able to use office equipment such as a computer, phone, copier, printer, etc.
