Irish Bred Pub is a small business in Opelika, AL. We are professional, agile, customer-centric and our goal is to be the hub of our community and to create a new "local" in Historic Downtown Opelika - a place where people gather, exchange ideas, make new friends, catch up with old friends. At our restaurant you will enjoy locally grown vegetables, fresh beef, chicken, and seafood served by the area's friendliest service staff. .

Role Description

This is a full-time or part-time on-site Server role located in Opelika, AL.

We are looking for servers who have high energy, a positive attitude, a great work ethic, a strong passion for hospitality, and who pay attention to detail. As a Server, you will be responsible for arriving on time, taking orders, serving food and beverages, being a team player, communicating with kitchen staff, resolving customer issues, processing payments, maintaining cleanliness, opening and/or closing the shift, and providing excellent customer service to our all of our patrons.

Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
Take and deliver food and drink orders accurately and promptly
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guests' needs and concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Assist with setting up tables and preparing the restaurant for service
Handle cash transactions and process payments using the Aloha POS system
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures

Qualifications:

Friendly and outgoing personality
Ability to be an excellent team player
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members
Excellent phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Problem solving skills
Knowledge of food service and guest service principles
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Time management skills
