Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! This position offers a vibrant environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and food safety are essential. Whether you're experienced in restaurant kitchens or eager to develop your culinary talents, this role provides an exciting opportunity to grow and thrive in the food industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
Cook a variety of dishes with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every plate
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols at all times
Support menu planning by suggesting improvements and new ideas based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently
Assist with catering orders and special event setups to ensure timely service
Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations

Skills

Proven experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal preparation
Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food service within restaurant or food industry settings
Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Experience with menu planning, catering, and serving is desirable
Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset to collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff
