Full Job Description

What Your Day Looks Like

Coordinating with design/test engineers and test lab personnel to align test objectives, schedules, and deliverables
Working with lab technicians to support test sample preparation and fixture setup, ensuring components are ready for evaluation
Tracking open test requests and monitoring progress to ensure timelines and program milestones are met
Reviewing and organizing incoming test data and results, ensuring proper documentation and traceability
Supporting the development and maintenance of test plans, DVP&Rs, and related engineering documentation
Assisting in the preparation of test reports and summarizing findings for engineering review
Participating in team meetings and contributing to continuous improvement of test processes and workflows

What YOU will Need:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline required
2–5 years of professional engineering experience in a product development, validation, or test engineering environment
Experience supporting a multi-disciplinary engineering team in a product or systems development context
Prior experience with structural testing (e.g., fatigue, durability, static load, or stress/strain measurement) preferred
Experience with heavy-duty drivetrain, powertrain, or axle systems is a plus but not required
Foundational understanding of mechanical structural analysis concepts (loading, stress, fatigue life)
Familiarity with common structural test methodologies
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
Familiarity with DVP&R, or structured test planning processes preferred
