Full Job Description

East Hill Medical Center is seeking a full-time dentist for our growing organization.

We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located in downtown Auburn, NY. We have a brand new office, state of the art equipment, choice of products and will purchase the tools you need for seeing patients. We offer competitive wages, paid time off (including PTO, 9 Observed Holidays, and 2 Floating Holidays). We also offer medical, dental, and vision coverage (eligible the first of the month after hire). East Hill Medical Center matches up to 4% of employee’s contribution. East Hill Medical Center is a NHSC approved site for loan reimbursement.

Job Description:

· Examines patients to diagnose and treat oral and dental conditions.

· Provides routine care of patients including but not limited to; Examination of head and neck; administration of medication; periodontal therapy; x-rays and follow up maintenance checks.

· Management of emergencies including but not limited to; control of acute hemorrhages, anaphylaxis, respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest and seizures.

· Diagnosis, treatment and management for illnesses and diseases that present in the office.

· Conducts procedures related to routine care or to symptoms exhibited during office visit including but not limited to; Restorations, non-surgical extractions, pulpotomy, dentures, and incision and drainage.

· Provides consultation with specialist regarding administration of care to patient as applicable.

· Documents care provided in the Electronic Medical Record.

· Participates in Quality Improvement initiatives for the dental office including peer review.

· Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients and community partners.

· Handle confidentiality appropriately.

· Experience with Dentrix and Medent, preferred.

· Flexibility to work between our main dental location as well as our School Based Dental Locations.

· Monday-Thursday work week: 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $185,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
