Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Recruiter to join our team, specializing in long-term staffing solutions for nursing homes and senior care facilities. In this role, you will drive talent acquisition efforts by sourcing, engaging, and hiring qualified healthcare professionals and support staff. Your energetic approach will ensure we attract top talent to provide exceptional care to our residents. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, build strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, and utilize innovative sourcing strategies to meet staffing needs efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the long-term care industry while honing your recruiting expertise.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for long-term nursing home positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates.
Develop and implement effective talent sourcing strategies utilizing HR systems, social media marketing (recruitment), and candidate sourcing techniques.
Manage high-volume recruitment campaigns to fill multiple vacancies promptly while maintaining quality standards.
Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates through cold calling, research, and engagement on various platforms.
Conduct behavioral interviews and assess candidate qualifications to ensure alignment with role requirements and compliance with employment law in talent management.
Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, craft compelling job descriptions, and develop targeted recruitment plans.
Utilize talent management software such as ATS (Applicant Tracking System), Workday, iCIMS, or PeopleSoft to track applicant progress and maintain accurate records.
Ensure HR legal compliance throughout the recruitment process by adhering to employment & labor law standards and internal policies.
Participate in campus recruitment initiatives and external recruiting events to attract emerging talent pools.
Support employee orientation, contracts, employee evaluation processes, and employee relations related to new hires.
Maintain relationship management with candidates and internal teams to foster a positive candidate experience.

Qualifications

Proven experience in full cycle recruiting within healthcare or long-term care settings is highly preferred.
Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills for engaging candidates and stakeholders effectively.
Familiarity with HR sourcing tools, talent management software (such as UltiPro or Kronos), and HR systems like Workday or Empeon.
Knowledge of employment law in talent management, HR legal compliance, and HR legal frameworks relevant to healthcare staffing.
Demonstrated ability in high-volume recruitment, technical recruiting, and executive recruiting is advantageous.
Experience with social media marketing (recruitment), lead generation, research techniques, cold calling, and candidate sourcing strategies.
Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse teams and external partners.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
