Full Job Description

Are you a detail oriented and highly organized Sr. Payroll Manager that is looking to work in a supportive and growing company? Come join the team at Unifi Healthcare in Augusta GA! This position reports to our company’s Controller and will play a crucial role in managing and executing all payroll functions.

Responsibilities

Process payroll for 900+ employees across both bi-weekly and weekly schedules
Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
Ensure the integrity of employee payroll records such as taxes withheld and deducts (401(k), benefits, etc)
Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate and timely input of employee data into payroll system
Continuously review and improve payroll processes to increase efficiency and accuracy
Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues in a timely manner
Manage and train payroll team members to maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency
Maintain confidentiality of all payroll information
Develop and implement effective payroll policies and procedures
Prepare and submit quarterly and annual payroll tax filings
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries
Other projects assigned by CFO and Controller

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study (accounting, finance, health care, human resources, etc.)
5+ years of progressive payroll experience
3+ years of leadership experience
Must sit in Augusta GA office
Proven success in processing efficiency
Knowledge of Rippling payroll software preferred
Ability to utilize new tools and technologies in a rapidly growing environment
Strong knowledge of payroll and payroll tax principles, regulations and procedures
· Staying current on industry trends, standards, and practices
