Full Job Description

Auto Mart USA is hiring a Service Manager to lead the service department at our Aurora location: a high-volume used car dealership with a growing, loyal customer base and plenty of retail business ready to be captured. At Auto Mart USA, a family-owned dealership, you'll find the opportunity, resources, and support to build and run a department that reflects our commitment to excellence and first-class customer experience.

We're looking for a leader who can take ownership of the service department, build a strong team of advisors and technicians, and turn our growing retail traffic into consistent, repeat business.

What will you do?

Own full operational responsibility for the Aurora service department — staffing, workflow, efficiency, and profitability
Directly manage and develop service advisors and technicians, setting clear expectations and holding the team accountable to performance goals
Set and drive targeted goals for department revenue, CSI, and productivity
Oversee scheduling, appointment flow, and shop capacity to maximize throughput without sacrificing quality
Review and approve service estimates; ensure accurate, complete repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
Monitor and improve the sale of routine maintenance, repair services, and related parts, including follow-up on unsold services
Ensure customers receive clear, constant communication throughout the repair process, including accurate time-to-completion estimates
Oversee multi-point inspections and ensure results are properly presented and explained to customers
Coordinate alternate transportation options (rental, shuttle, etc.) for customers
Manage parts ordering and billing processes tied to repair orders
Handle escalated customer concerns and ensure resolution in line with dealership policy
Collaborate with other departments on recalls, warranty, billing, and legal/compliance matters
Perform opening/closing responsibilities and oversee cash handling for the department
Take on additional projects and initiatives as the department and store grow

What are we looking for?

Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience in a service advisor or service management role (service management experience strongly preferred)
Proven track record leading a team and driving department performance
Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance requirements and shop operations
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Exceptional organization and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure
Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
