Full Job Description

Gold Aurum is looking for a motivated and professional Precious Metals Acquisition Specialist to join our growing operation.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious individual who wants to build a long-term career in the precious metals business, with very strong income potential and the opportunity to earn $12,000+ per month.

How the Business Works

Our business operates through a mobile office model, rather than a traditional retail storefront.

During the initial training and preparation period, you will be based in Austin, Texas and work with our existing operation.

Our mobile service operates throughout the North Austin area.

The agent works from a company-provided vehicle / mobile office, travels between scheduled locations, meets customers, evaluates precious metals and other eligible items, and completes transactions on behalf of the company.

Paid Training & Florida Launch

Training will take place in Austin, Texas.

We provide 10 days of paid professional training at $150 per day.

After successfully completing the training, the long-term plan is for the agent to join our Florida expansion team when the Florida operation launches.

Candidates must be flexible and willing to relocate to Florida when the new market launches.

This is an important part of the opportunity. We are looking for someone who is not only interested in completing the training, but who is prepared to travel and relocate for the next stage of the business.

The exact timing of the Florida launch will depend on the development of the new market.

Compensation

Independent Contractor (1099)
10 days of paid training
$150 per day during training
20% commission based on Net Margin
Potential to earn $12,000+ per month
Company-provided mobile office / work vehicle
Operational support from the company
Opportunity to grow with an expanding precious metals business

There is no fixed salary ceiling. Your earning potential is directly connected to your performance and the volume and profitability of your business.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

Professional and reliable
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Comfortable speaking directly with customers
Comfortable working in a mobile environment
Interested in sales and customer service
Willing to learn about gold, jewelry, precious metals, and customer transactions
Comfortable traveling between different locations
Flexible and willing to relocate to Florida
Able to pass required background and compliance checks

Previous precious-metals experience is not required. Full training is provided.

This position is designed for someone who wants to grow with the business rather than simply take a local job in Austin.

You will receive your initial training in Austin, Texas, learn the business and operating model, and then have the opportunity to participate in the company's Florida expansion.
