About IFC

Integrated Food Concepts is a growing business based in Houston, TX, and growing to Austin for the first time! We specialize in commercial foodservice via corporate catering, office cafeterias, and office pop ups - mainly serving office buildings, hospitals, and other corporate cafes and caterings. We provide companies over 20+ cuisine concepts and brands - everything from Tex-Mex, to Mediterranean, to fine dining. Since we've started we've grown to serve some of the largest Fortune 500 companies out there and grew almost 10X our first year!

We are hiring 2-3 cooks to prep and serve in a corporate cafeteria station setting. You will be serving the guests directly from our station so all positions require great people skills and the highest customer service standards. Working weekends is required (but it is day only no dinner shifts!)

The cook positions must have at least 2 years of cook experience in prep and various kitchen stations (grill, saute, garde manger, etc.)

The ideal candidates are independent and capable of leading and executing a rotation of changing concepts/menus with a small team or solo. We need our first Austin team to really set the bar high! This could/should be the first of many opportunities in the Austin area so no matter what position you're applying for, if you're interested in growth you're in the right place.

Prep and serve - 90% of what we do is back of house prep; then serving guests in a speedy, par-cooked (buffet-style) service

Experience - varied experience across several stations is greatly preferred
Cool under pressure - some cafes can get really busy, really quick, our guests can never see you sweat!
Communication - is everything in all successful relationships and businesses. Clearly and effectively communicate at all times.
Flexibility & transportation - we rotate staff at our many office building locations around town. We have clients from Spring to downtown.

This opportunity is for a cafeteria in a hospital, so background check, drug test, and current vaccinations will be required.
