Job Summary:

We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Property Manager to join our growing team. This individual will oversee the day-to-day operations of a commercial property portfolio, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional tenant service, and alignment with ownership goals. This role requires strong leadership, critical thinking, and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

As a Property Manager at ECR, you’ll be empowered to make a meaningful impact—working closely with tenants, vendors, team members, and ownership to uphold operational excellence and deliver best-in-class service.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of daily operations for assigned commercial properties in accordance with management contracts and lease agreements.
Lead financial planning and reporting for the portfolio, including annual budgets, variance analysis, monthly reports, and expense reconciliations.
Build strong relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, and ownership; serve as the primary point of contact for tenant relations.
Handle all service requests and complaints promptly, ensuring timely resolution and high satisfaction.
Oversee AR/AP processes including rent collection, invoice coding/approval, and account reconciliation.
Conduct regular property inspections, recommending and overseeing maintenance, repairs, capital projects, and tenant improvements.
Source, bid, and manage vendor contracts; ensure all work complies with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Maintain organized and up-to-date lease and vendor records, insurance certificates, key logs, and contract files.
Collaborate with internal teams including accounting, leasing, marketing, and construction management.
Coordinate tenant move-ins/move-outs and organize tenant engagement events such as fire drills, holiday activities, and building initiatives.
Support special projects and due diligence efforts for property sales or acquisitions.

Education & Experience:

5+ years of experience in commercial property management required
3+ years in a direct Property Manager role preferred
Bachelor’s degree is a plus; equivalent experience accepted
Industry certifications such as CPM or RPA are a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Yardi, IMPAK, Angus (or comparable software)

Knowledge & Skills:

Strong understanding of commercial building systems (HVAC, fire/life safety, mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
Financial acumen and experience with property budgets and reporting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of organization, accountability, and attention to detail
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
