Patient Centric Periodontal Practice seeks a full-time Dental Hygienist to join our amazing team!

Practice Overview

Our well-established practice is dedicated to delivering ethical, high-quality, and compassionate periodontal care to patients throughout the Austin area. Guided by a philosophy of conservative, patient-centric treatment, our doctor is committed to personalized care with transparent diagnostics absent of over-treatment. We take pride in our cohesive, long-tenured team culture that extends collaboration, friendships, and mutual respect both inside and outside the workplace. This full-time opportunity has opened due to a long-standing hygienist transitioning from clinical practice into an educational role.

Located in a professional medical condominium in Northwest Austin near the Domain and Arboretum, our modern, up-to-date facility is equipped with advanced, high-quality equipment designed to support comprehensive clinical workflows.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

We are seeking a dedicated professional who excels in patient rapport, clinical precision, and compassionate communication. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong ethical standards, a collaborative disposition, and a commitment to inclusive, respectful care for patients from all backgrounds.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred; however, we are fully prepared to mentor and train a highly motivated candidate.
Certifications: Current Nitrous Oxide certification is required; Local Anesthesia certification is strongly preferred.
Core Competencies: Exceptional interpersonal communication, strong moral and professional ethics, and the ability to work seamlessly in a team environment.

Primary Responsibilities

Perform supportive periodontal maintenance and targeted scaling and root planing procedures.
Monitor, record, and evaluate ongoing patient periodontal health metrics.
Coordinate closely with the doctor to assess treatment outcomes and recommend advanced therapeutic interventions when necessary.
Participate in comprehensive care delivery for both established patients and new referrals utilizing traditional surgical modalities as well as minimally invasive laser-assisted periodontal therapy (LANAP).

Schedule, Compensation, & Application Details

· Compensation: $55.00 – $65.00/hr, based on experience and clinical knowledge.

· Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM; Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 1:00 PM (No Fridays or late evenings).
