Position: Director of Operations

Location: Austin, TX

As our firm continues to grow, with a vision of serving 10,000 families and managing $10 billion in assets by 2036, we are seeking an exceptional Director of Operations to play a pivotal leadership role in driving our mission forward and empowering both our clients and our team to thrive.

This is not a traditional administrative role; the Director of Operations serves as the backbone of our organization, responsible for building and scaling operational processes, developing people, and ensuring consistent execution across all levels. What you’ll do:

Oversee daily operations, lead staff, and ensure Centennial Advisors runs efficiently and in line with our vision.

Leadership & Team Management

Lead and develop the Operations Team
Conduct check-ins, reviews, hiring, onboarding, and training
Ensure accountability and process adherence
Foster ownership, communication, and improvement
Partner with leadership to execute initiatives

Operations Management

Manage operations across locations
Maintain and improve workflows and SOPs
Resolve operational issues
Oversee vendors, office systems, and facilities
Ensure operational consistency

Process & Project Management

Track and coordinate company initiatives and projects
Monitor deadlines, deliverables, and accountability
Create and improve systems for efficiency
Maintain documentation and reporting

Human Resources & Team Support

Oversee onboarding/offboarding
Manage benefits administration and employee records
Support hiring and HR processes
Coordinate meetings, training, and development

Compliance & Business Support

Support compliance and regulatory needs
Maintain confidential information and records
Generate operational reports
Ensure client service through accurate processes

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree considered with relevant experience
5+ years of operations, office management, business administration, or leadership experience in a fast-paced environment
Proven ability to manage people, develop teams, and work collaboratively
Highly organized with strong project management and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and comfortable with a variety of business technology platforms (e.g., Wealthbox)
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
Proactive, adaptable, and quick to embrace change
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a self-starter mentality with strong problem-solving skills and a sense of ownership

Help leadership focus on growth by building a stronger operational foundation

Monday – Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (in office)
