In-Home Caregiver – Austin, TX *Urgently Hiring

Pay: $15.00–$17.00 per hour

Home Matters Caregiving is looking for experienced, compassionate caregivers to join our growing Austin team. We’re not looking for someone who simply wants a job—we’re looking for reliable, experienced caregivers who take pride in providing exceptional care to seniors and building meaningful relationships with their clients.

At Home Matters Caregiving, you’ll be part of a supportive team that values your experience, recognizes your hard work, and provides opportunities to grow.

What You’ll Do: As an In-Home Caregiver, you’ll provide personalized care that helps seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their homes.

Your responsibilities may include:

Providing compassionate companionship and emotional support
Assisting with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
Assisting with mobility, transfers, and safe ambulation
Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed
Providing medication reminders/assistance within the scope of the care plan
Performing light housekeeping and maintaining a safe home environment
Following each client's individualized care plan
Accurately documenting care provided and communicating important client updates to the care team
Building trusting, professional relationships with clients and their families

Our ideal caregiver has:

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience with seniors
Experience providing personal care and/or ADL assistance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable transportation, drivers license, and auto-insurance
A dependable, professional, and compassionate approach to caregiving
The ability to follow a care plan and accurately document services
The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to client homes throughout the Austin area
The physical ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
The ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, crouch, hear, see, and communicate effectively throughout a shift
Minimum age of 21 (some exceptions may apply)
