Full Job Description

Job Summary:
The Logistic & SCM (Supply Chain Management) Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing the flow of goods, materials, and information throughout the supply chain. This role ensures timely delivery, cost efficiency, and alignment with company goals by coordinating procurement, inventory management, logistics operations, and vendor relations.

We are looking for a passionate candidate who will work with us as a Logistics & SCM Associate for GST America. This position requires inventory management, planning and forecasting, project management, procurement, local sourcing, and delivering parts from storage to on-site facilities (Samsung Austin Semiconductor, Samsung Taylor, GST America's Pflugerville office)

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and coordinate end-to-end logistics, including inbound and outbound shipments, customs clearance, and warehousing.
Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure product availability and avoid overstock/shortages.
Collaborate with procurement and production teams to maintain optimal supply chain performance.
Manage relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
Analyze logistics data and KPIs to identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure compliance with relevant trade regulations, import/export laws, and company policies.
Support the implementation of ERP or SCM systems to streamline operations and reporting.
Handle logistics documentation such as shipping invoices, bills of lading, and inventory reports.
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., operations, finance, warehouse) to align supply chain strategies.

Qualifications:

Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related functions.
Strong understanding of logistics principles, international shipping, and inventory control.
Proficiency in Microsoft systems.
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
