1-2 Days per Week | Onsite | New Graduates Encouraged to ApplyAre you a newly

graduated MD or DO (or an early-career physician) looking for a well-supported, low-stress clinical role with excellent pay and predictable hours?

Nepenthe Wellness Center is seeking a PRN Physician (MD or DO) to provide onsite medical oversight for IV ketamine infusions at our interventional mental health clinics. This role is intentionally designed to be approachable for new graduates while remaining attractive to experienced physicians seeking flexible PRN work.

This is a calm, safety-focused environment — not high-volume hospital or clinic work.

What You’ll Do

Provide onsite physician oversight during IV ketamine infusion days
Be available for clinical questions, patient safety, and escalation (rare)
Collaborate with experienced RNs, NPs, and IV staff
Follow established ketamine protocols (training provided)
Complete brief documentation and sign-offs as required
Support a professional, patient-centered clinical environment

This role focuses on clinical presence and judgment, not throughput or productivity quotas.

Schedule

PRN
1-2 set weekday per week
Onsite during clinic hours

Compensation

Highly competitive PRN physician pay

Indeed Pay Range:

$150 – $220 per hour (based on experience)

This range is intentionally structured to:

Be attractive to newly licensed physicians
Support moonlighting or supplemental income
Remain competitive for experienced MDs/DOs

Qualifications

Required:

MD or DO (new graduates welcome)
Active Texas medical license
Comfortable working in an outpatient, infusion-based setting
Strong focus on patient safety and professionalism

Preferred (but not required):

Interest in psychiatry, anesthesia, emergency medicine, pain, or outpatient care
Prior ketamine exposure (training provided if not)
