Full Job Description

About the Role

Riceland Healthcare Systems is a growing healthcare network based in Southeast Texas, expanding our laboratory services into the Central Texas market. We are looking for a field-based Practice Liaison to build relationships with physician practices across the Greater Austin area and grow our laboratory client base.

This is an outside sales role — you will be on the road daily, visiting clinical offices, developing relationships with physicians and practice administrators, and bringing on new accounts. You will report directly to the CEO and Lab Administrator.

Responsibilities

Identify and visit target physician practices across the Austin metro and surrounding counties

Build relationships with physicians, practice managers, and clinical decision-makers

Present Riceland's laboratory services and mobile phlebotomy capabilities to prospective clients

Manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through account onboarding

Maintain detailed account records and submit weekly activity reports to leadership

Represent Riceland at scheduled lunch meetings and office educational sessions

Participate in weekly strategy calls with senior leadership

Compensation & Growth

Starting base salary: $60,000

Structured salary increases tied to active client growth

Year 2 expansion opportunity into the San Antonio region

Mileage reimbursement and business expense coverage

Required Qualifications

1–3+ years of outside sales, healthcare sales, or physician relationship management experience

Self-directed with the ability to manage a field territory independently

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Valid Texas driver's license and reliable personal transportation

Preferred Qualifications

Prior laboratory, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales experience

Existing relationships with specialty practices in the Austin or Central Texas market

Familiarity with clinical laboratory or toxicology testing services

Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, life sciences, or related field
