Full Job Description

Duties:

- Assist a tree crew in completing tree pruning, removal and cabling services.
- Assist a tree crew in running ropes for rigging techniques using a port-a-wrap
- Assist a tree crew with pruning trees from the ground with a pole-saw and chainsaw
- Operate and maintain equipment such as chainsaws, wood chippers, trailers, brush loader, lifts, etc.
- Assist in the completion of services by hauling brush from the worksite to the chipper for disposal and passing tools to tree climbers when aloft

-Drive work trucks to and from job-sites
- Keep sidewalks, parking lots, and other common areas clean and free of debris.
- Perform regular inspections of grounds to identify any safety hazards or maintenance needs.

Experience:
- 1-2 years of previous experience in tree service groundsman.
- Knowledge of tree trimming techniques.
- Basic understanding of chainsaw safe-use practices

Skills:
- Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure the proper care of trees and equipment
- Good physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting or bending.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills to work well with team members and supervisors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
